This is the perfect representation of what a Normandy town looks like, with its historical half-timbered houses , follow the path of the Harcourt family who owned this land for centuries beginning in the 11th century, which makes this family one of the oldest in French nobility today. As Normand as it is possible to be, Honfleur is undoubtedly the most beautiful little harbor of the Norman coast. Tightened around their Vieux Bassin, the 17^th century houses are covered by slate, and offer one of the most beautiful pictures you can take in Normandy. They date back from the time in which Honfleur had strong commercial links with Canada. To defend the entrance of the port, the fortified Lieutenance is proudly keeping an eye at the ocean. The village is full of half-timbered house and narrow streets, perfect to feel its quiet atmosphere. Nearby the market square, you will be amazed by the Ste-Catherine church. Built integrally in wood by ships carpenter after the One Hundred Year war, its bell tower has been erected apart from the church to prevent from any vibration that could weaken its wood structure! Unforgettable.

To finish the day, your guide will take you in a discovery of Normandy spirits in a local distillery. With over 74 acres of land, and over 25 different apples varieties grown, the place provides a large assortment of products which you will be able to discover throughout the visit. You will learn here the difference between a “calvados” and a “pommeau of Normandy” with an instructive guided tour of the domain followed by a commented tasting of the different products the site has to offer.
