In accordance with the Article 104 of the June 15, 1994 Decree, travel agency terms and conditions for customers must include the following conditions (see supplementary general conditions) stemming from the Articles 95-105 of the June 15, 1994 Decree # 94-940. This Decree stems from the Article 31 of the Act # 92-645 that determines the conditions of activities related to planning and selling travels. The purchase of travel packages included in this website implies the customer’s complete agreement with both general and supplementary conditions.
The France Intense website aims to inform the customer, about the content of our travel packages, the booking, fares and payment, cancellations or changes. It gives to the customer the possibility to book on line and to obtain information about most availability. As far as possible, the information presented on this website is regularly updated. France Intense terms and conditions are valid starting on June 1, 2003. Your contract complies with the terms and conditions in force on the day you book your trip. The terms and conditions apply to all items presented on France Intense website. The purchase of travel packages implies the customer’s complete agreement with both general and supplementary conditions. The information and photos presented on this website do not have a contractual value; prices may slightly vary throughout the year without notice.
According to the tours, different deposit amounts are required for us to make the reservation and hold it on definite basis. The customer can either send a check for the balance due or pay by credit card Visa or MasterCard (secured online payment). Your booking will be confirmed by email with your personal reference number and with a voucher you will show at the beginning of your tour. For day tours, 100% of the total amount will be charged on your credit card. For other tours you will be charged on the base of the lowest price presented. A readjustment will be operated subsequently according to the final number of people you confirm for the tour. Please contact us if you have any question about your booking.
Each package description on this website specifies the services included in the price. Our prices are in Euros and per person. Unless otherwise specified, the price never includes the following: vaccination cost, insurance, optional tours, drinks, tips, and personal expenses. The contract price only includes the services described in the tour package. Some prices are presented on the basis of 2 to 8 people. A readjustment will be operated subsequently according to the final number of people you confirm for the tour. Price quotations are subject to change without notice. You will be charged in Euro at the conversion’s rate applicable on the date of your booking.
The bill is sent to the customer immediately after the booking to the email address you mention in the booking form. The balance cost will be paid at the latest 35 days prior to the first day of the tour. If you send a check, you must also sign and send the final estimate (that is the bill). If the final balance is not received on time, France Intense reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled by you. If you book the tour within 35 days prior to the beginning of the tour, the full amount must be paid when the booking is confirmed. If this total payment together with a signed booking form is not received, the booking will not be considered as definite.
France Intense is a receptive travel agency specialized in providing high-quality services in France. As a receptive travel agency, we are not able to provide plane/train tickets.
However, in our concern to provide high-quality service, we will make it easier for you by putting you in touch with our business partners (air fair companies).
Our liability concerning transportation starts at your arrival on the French territory.
In accordance with the article 23 of the July 13, 1992 Act # 92-645, France Intense shall not be held liable for any inconvenience due to the following:
- Loss/theft of plane tickets (airline companies do not issue duplicates).
- At the customs or check-in, non-presentation, or presentation of documents (ID card, passport, visa, vaccination certificate, etc) which have expired or have an insufficient period of validity or do not conform with the indications on the back. In case of a failed check-in, there will be no refund of the package fare.
- Unexpected incidents due to a third party: wars, political upheavals, strikes external to France Intense, technical hitches external to France Intense, congestions on the roads or in the air space, hijacking, bankrupt of a service provider, bad weather, delays, engine failures, thefts of luggage or other goods. No refund of any kind will be made because of delays and itinerary changes due to the incidents mentioned above – e.g. change in the length of the tour initially planned or of a connection. Possible additional expenses (taxes, hotel, parking) will be payable by the customer.
- Cancellations imposed by circumstances of the greatest importance and/or linked to the customer’s safety, and/or on the command of an enforcing authority. France Intense reserves the right to modify planned dates/times/itineraries if the customer’s safety cannot be ensured. The customer cannot claim any refund.
France Intense provides land services. Services that will not be used (transfers and excursions) will not be refunded. Services that are voluntarily modified on the spot are subject to our service providers’ conditions: additional services that entail an extra cost will have to be paid directly by the customer and will not entail France Intense’s liability.
France Intense holds a national license for the transportation of passenger in vehicles (cars, minivans, coaches…). This license is delivered by the French government and guaranties you of quality vehicles and most important appropriate insurance.

France Intense takes care of customers’ transportation in quality vehicles that can hold from 2 to 8 passengers.
Checking in / out.
In accordance to international hotel industry regulations, customers should check in from 2:00 PM on – no matter what the arrival time is -, and check out before 12:00 PM – no matter what the departure time is.
Meals that are included are mentioned in the packages.
Whether at a hotel or traditional restaurant, drinks are not included, unless otherwise specified.
As far as possible, France Intense will satisfy amendment requests made at the latest one month prior to the first day of the tour. If these requests concern an extension of the stay, an increased number of persons, or the purchase of additional services, only the cost of these amendments will be charged in addition to the original price. For any other amendment, an extra 30 € fee per person will be charged.
8. Transfer of contract.
The customer transferring his/her contract must inform France Intense at the latest 7 days prior to the first day of the tour, by a recorded delivery letter with acknowledgement of receipt, that should both specify the name and address of the new contract holder, and confirm that both persons meet the same conditions to make the trip.
For information only, cancellation charges will range from 30 to 122 € per person according to the lapse of time before the departure day.
9. Privacy statement.
The personal information that you provide to us while you book your trip will not be disclosed to third parties, except to providers of services that you ordered. This information will be considered by France Intense as confidential.
10. Young persons under 18.
Registration requests concerning young persons less than 18 years of age must be signed by one of the parents or legal guardian, and marked “With the consent of the father/mother/legal guardian”. Besides the regular documents required for the trip, young persons under 18 must be in possession of letter of consent to exit the country signed by one of the parents or legal guardian. Mention also needs to be made of a contact phone number and address in case of an emergency.
11. Cancellation fee.
In case of cancellation of a booking, the customer must inform France Intense by a recorded delivery letter with acknowledgement of receipt, as early as possible: the date of the acknowledgement of receipt will be considered as the cancellation date in order to calculate the cancellation fee.
For trips including land services ("a la carte" tours, itineraries for individuals) and travel packages, the cancellation fee will be as follows:
- More than 45 days prior to departure: 5% of the total amount due, non refundable by the trip cancellation insurance, with a minimum charge of 100 € per person.
- 45-31 days prior to departure: 15% of the total amount due, with a minimum charge of 100 € per person.
- 30-21 days prior to departure: 35% of the total amount due.
- 20-15 days prior to departure: 50% of the total amount due.
- 14-5 days prior to departure: 75% of the total amount due.
- Less than 4 days prior to departure: 100% of the total amount due.
For regular tours without accommodation, also designed as “Day Tours” or “Small Group Tours”, the cancellation fees will be as follows:
- More than 7 days prior to departure: no fees.
- 6-0 days prior to departure: 100% of the total amount due.
12. Customer service.
Any complaint for non-fulfillment or poor fulfillment of the travel contract should be made on the spot, and referred either to the offending provider of service or to Pascal Mineau, the customer relation specialist for France Intense. The complaint must describe the grievance and be made within 24 hours.
If you have not obtained satisfaction, please send your complaint through registered mail, and join all written evidence within 15 days after the end of your trip. The length of our investigation will determine the delay in our response to your complaint.
The valid court for incidents is Blois, France.
Unless otherwise specified, no insurance is included in the prices we offer.
As a consequence, when you book your trip, France Intense suggests that you should subscribe to an insurance through your insurance company, against the following risks:
- Loss of luggage
- Legal aid
- Accidental bodily injury and repatriation
14. Day tours.
The booking is effective after the online payment. France Intense reserves the right to modify planned times/itineraries if the customer’s safety can not be ensured or unexpected incidents due to a third party. Our agency declines all responsibility for personal effects left in the vehicles.
15. Issue of Voucher.
France Intense cannot be held responsible for problem if you don’t receive or read carefully your voucher. In case you have not received your voucher, you must notify France Intense by email at least 7 days before your tour starts.
After payment, we automatically send a voucher / invoice by e-mail. Thank you to make sure you give a correct and active email address.
The voucher has to be printed and presented to the different service providers.
