There are many ways to tour Paris. Pascal recommends you have different experiences like the Big Bus tour (Hop-on, Hop-off), a romantic Dinner Cruise on the Seine, a Paris museum pass for the D'Orsay and the Louvre. And no Paris trip is complete without at least one ride on the Metro, the city's amazing subway system - make sure to experience it. Paris is a very ancient city with the distinct architectural motifs of its Roman heritage, the Middle ages, Renaissance and Napoleonic periods, as well as its Haussman, Nouveau and Art deco styles.
Paris is composed of twenty “Arrondissements” (districts or neighborhoods). Your “must -do” list should have Cartier Saint Germain, the Champ Elysées, the Opera Garnier shopping district, Montmartre, and the Isle Saint Louis - the vertable soul of Paris.

Experiencing the heritage of Paris is almost like taking a two-thousand year trip though time. It is difficult to not to be deeply stirred by its abundant beauty. To begin to understand this fantastic city, at the very least it is worth booking a day trip in a small group tour or a private tour. Half day tours are also available (but alas, you will only grasp half as much).
France has such a rich, layered history that every region has its own distinct culture, and Paris is considered a region all its own. Among the “art of living” are the brasseries and cafes where one can enjoy a glass of wine on the patio, and of course there is the fine dining. Paris is also about Haute Couture, Perfume, Opera, Art in its many forms, its Cabaret shows, and is simply filled with the elegance of true romance.

Originally from the restaurant profession, Pascal doesn't put much value on social network-based ratings, those where just anyone can leave a critique. You're much better off asking your concierge or refer to the Michelin or Gault et Millau guides for the best places to dine.
