While we are in the vineyards we will give you a clear and entertaining presentation of the difference between the appellations “Village, 1er Cru and Grand Crus”. Here the Chardonnay is at its best!
10.30am: Tour and wine tasting at domain in Meursault.
Meursault is famous for its creamy and delicate chardonnay with famous premiers crus such as “Les Charmes” or “Les Perrières”. In an authentic old burgundy cellar, you will enjoy a wine tasting around the elegant white wines of Meursault but no worries the red will be also in your glass!
12.30: Lunch at a local domain or restaurant in Santenay.
Be ready to enjoy a true authentic moment in the beautiful village of Santenay. Situated at the end of the Côte de Beaune, Santenay is shared between a mineral and elegant chardonnay and a powerful and cherry pinot noir terroirs. Around a traditional lunch and delicious wines, you will discover all the secrets of Santenay.
Transfer to the Hospices of Beaune through the Grands crus roads. Sightseeing of the famous Bâtard-Montrachet, Montrachet, Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet and Chevalier-Montrachet.

Typical example of Burgundy flamboyant gothic style, this former hospital founded in 1443 by the chancellor Nicolas Rolin and his wife Guigone de Salins is the testimony of the Flemish influence on the duchy of Burgundy. As far as architecture, it is worldwide famous for its colorful polychromatic glazed tile roofs. The Last Judgment triptych painting by Flemish painter Rogier Van Der Weyden is the highlight of the visit. You will tour the Salle des Pôvres (where the sick ones were looked after), the kitchens, the pharmacy and other rooms exhibiting artifacts and tapestries.
4.00pm: Tour and wine tasting at a local domain in Beaune.
In the wine capital of Burgundy, you will end your day in a small local domain to understand every steps and secrets of the winemaking. With the winemaker, you will taste different white and red wines from the Côte de Beaune.
05.30 pm: your guide will drive you back to Beaune Tourist Office.
